Silicone emulsions are silicone oils dispersed in an aqueous system. Emulsions are ideal for surface treatments, being easy to apply, and are simple to prepare. Depending on the type of emulsifier system used, silicone emulsions can be divided into three groups: anionic, cationic and non-ionic. Featuring outstanding lubrication, soft touch and water repellency, these waterborne products are low-odor and environmentally compliant.
